While Pokémon made a huge success worldwide, Pulseman was only realased in Japan until came out on Wii in 2007
But there are several Pulseman references in Pokémon games. Rotom is one of them

Not enough love for good old Pulseman, but considering that it only came out overseas in 2007, that pretty much explains it. I'm glad Rotom, Team Galactic and Ledian happened, though - Gen 4 seems to be the one with the most references to that wonderful electric hero.
