Recently I was looking through a laptop I don't use anymore and found some old Next Generation notes and sketches. I'm not even sure if people care about this kind of stuff right now, but I thought I'd share some of those concepts anyway.

In this universe, after accepting Celestia’s position and moving to Canterlot, Twilight Sparkle worked on several projects to make the world even more friendly and magical. The first thing she did was creating more Cutie Maps: one for every big region in Equestria, so willing ponies could help their own communities themselves. Now “friendship” can be not only a primary school subject, but also a line of work. Nice job, Twilight!

Here we have the top of the Canterlot Cutie Map Department: Princess White Night on the left, a firstborn child of Twilight and Blueblood; and Starturn on the right, daughter of Trixie and Sky Stinger. Pretty much everyone is wondering how the two are managing to work together after a very dramatic break up. The answer is: barely.

More notes on White Night:

— White is ridiculously, almost comically tall. She likes it, though. Useful for a physical intimidation.

— The only reason White takes part in this Cutie Map business is image maintaining, but It's all for her parents, not for herself. She isn't bothered by that kind of thing, not anymore. Princess' duty? Stupid name, never heard of her.

— White is actually quite charismatic. She is a politician, by education and by nature. Despite her strange attitude towards her royal status, ponies tend to like her, and she knows it, and she likes being liked.

— Magic is White's lifelong passion, and she's very gifted at it. In her magical searches she tends to push herself to the limits, rarely shying away from testing self-invented spells and potions on herself. It never served her any good.

— Starturn is the head of the Canterlot Cutie Map Department. There's some speculation if her close ties to the royal family have to do anything with it, and it bothers her a little more than she'd like to admit.

— Leading is Starturn's talent: she likes the responsibility, being in control feels natural to her. Even with all the public attention that comes with the position, Starturn loves her job. Especially after... her previous one.

— Speaking of Starturn's work-life balance, It's bad. She functions on coffee and unreasonable ambitions most days.

— Starturn really wants to have a professional relationship with her ex-fiancee White Night, but It's kind of hard when the damned Map pairs them together almost every time. Oh, and the half of Equestria rooting for them to get back together? That's a thing too. Still, they make a great team. Starturn tries to tell herself it's what matters most.
