Description
The last sunlight is hitting Chief Mountain in the very back. Lovely light skies as well. I went here because of the recommendation of a ranger, who lives down in the valley there. Our tent is somewhere down there in the woods as well, only about a ten minute walk away from where I'm standing.

I can see that mountain from where I live. Nearly 62 miles away. Never went to see it up close tho.

I never went up really close but closer than this and it looks pretty interesting with lots of different layers. If I were you I would most certainly use the opportunity to see it up close one day. And I would probably hike all of Glacier NP, haha.
