Found this while browsing through my Harz pictures, to look something up, and thought I would upload it. I overexposed this a little so I lost some details in the brighter areas of the waterfall. Reflecting light is harsh.
It shows one of the upper steps of the Ilse Falls which can be experienced when hiking the Heinrich-Heine-Trail.Location: Upper Ilse Falls, Harz Nationalpark, Germany

A lovely waterfall
I really only discovered waterfalls in Iceland. Until then I hadn't really paid them much attention. Now I love them...........any size will do

Heh, I think you only start looking out for them once you experienced them once because waterfalls are much more about the experience than about appearance most of the time imho.
This one is a bit "cheated". Ilse Falls is a ca. 1 km section of the Ilse river, in which it drops about 120 m or so - the falls are dozens of steps like this one and it's indeed lovely.

Yep, the whole valley this small river runs through is quite beautiful.
