Description
A view of Berg Glacier from the Berg Lake Trail, just 1-2 km before one reaches the shelter at the north shore of the lake. Normally I don't like the "through the trees"-shots but this one somehow worked for me. It frames it quite nicely imho. I can't help but love the different blues in here. The lake, the glacier and the sky all feature nice and soft but different blues.Location: Berg Lake, Berg Lake Trail, Mount Robson Provincial Park, British Columbia, Canada

Oh damn it. I'm rooting for you to get some nice weather before you have to go home! I'm glad I could give you a little something to look at. Tbh I think we had a lot of luck with the weather because in 2 out of 3 days the clouds actually broke every now and then. You can't say that about the days before and the days after the hike.

Freut mich, dass es dir gefällt! Mit der Kälte ging es sogar. Ich hatte kein Thermometer zur Hand aber so lange man sich bewegt hat war es sogar ganz angenehm. Vielleicht knapp unter 0 °C hier oben? Haben am Wendepunkt in der Hütte Picknick gemacht und da hat man dann doch gemerkt, dass man selbst windgeschützt schnell auskühlt, wenn man sich nicht bewegt.

Haha. Aber das geht manchmal auch überraschend schnell. Wir hatten hier von einem auf den anderen Tag Wintereinbruch. Also an einem Tag schön in der Sonne, fast T-Shirt Wetter und am nächsten Tag lagen 15 cm Schnee. Aber einen Schock hat das irgendwie nicht ausgelöst.

Thanks a lot! And I doubt it. It does look much colder than it actually was. Tbh it wasn't really all that cold. As long as you kept moving it was a pretty enjoyable walking temperature. I suppose it was too cold to sit down for a longer period of time though. So yeah, it was absolutely magical walking through a winter wonderland, I can assure you that. No picture can do it real justice.
