Description

Interesting interplay of clouds, rain and light over Bennett Lake. I also like the line of strongly yellow aspen ind the middle. This was shot from one of the dunes in the Carcross Desert, the smallest "desert" in the world. It's not really a desert as it's not dry enough. The sand is carried here from the shores of Bennett Lake by wind if I remember correctly. It's used by locals for recreational purposes: for example quads as you can their tracks down in the sand.
