Happy Mother's/ early Father's day Mr. A!!
This was a completely random and silly idea I thought up
last night and just had to do..
This is also for 's fan-art contest!
Aaron Alexovich ( >> The Heart Shaped Skull<< ) is my absolute favorite artist.
He created the comic Serenity Rose that has inspired so many
people, like myself, to pick themselves up and do something with our lives.
The two kids in this drawing are baby versions of Serenity Rose (aka "Sera") herself, and her best friend, Contessa von Rubikov (aka "Tess").
Mr. A is kind of like their mother and their father since he created them,
so I wanted to show my gratitude to one epic parent.
*btw, DA needs a category for both traditional and digital pieces...*
but I worked mostly in graphite for this and then touched
it up and added color in photoshop,
so that's why it's under "traditional".

lotsa people just make those dummy "plz" accounts & put whatever they want in as the avatars. Kinda big & clunky by smiley standards (not to mention a horrible waste of bandwidth), but it works.

I knew I wanted to incorporate the heart-shaped-skull somehow..
and at first I was going to have her sucking her thumb..
but then it hit me like a herd of ectoplasm ponies-
DUH! heart-shaped-skull-pacifier ftw!
That's probably one of my favorite parts.
