Hey guys! Been a while, so I thought I'd take a break from homework and create this! I got inspired after listening to this one song for a full hour without realizing it. It always seems like when I listen to music, I get so lost in the melodies that the world around me goes white... (totally being serious here. I hope I don't go blind or something xD)Well, back to homework! Later I'll upload a cool design I created for my 2D Design class!

You make music? *is in awe* That's amazing! What type of genre/instrument do you specialize in?
And not really (at the moment). There is that DJ Again piece in my gallery, but I haven't had much opportunity with school to create works based on whatever music inspires me to do. I have a lot of ideas for music-inspired works that I intend to create after finishing school. In fact, I have conceptualized an entire series (either animated or digital animated comic) that will have its sole foundation on music and its importance to the world. I know it sounds vague, but I can't get into details now xD. But I've poured my heart and soul into the idea, and once I'm able to actually sit down and create the series, it's going to be great! I just have to find some composers eventually that will work on the project with me, lol. But that's all another year or so down the road.
Anyhoo, in a nutshell, you can be sure to expect more musically-inspired pieces like this one from my gallery soon.

I know exactly what you mean about the dark background. Actually, I originally sketched this out on a near-black blue color. However when comparing the black to the white, the white looked better. Plus, I thought white conveyed more of a 'pure' void rather than a black hole. My music makes me happy, not evil xD
