Great work without having to be all clean and neat to get there. The dark and busy style creates an overall sense of fear, doom and surrealism like a living nightmare standing before me in a very immersive and threatening way that has my hackles up. It fits perfectly the persistent feeling hanging on me since the horrific nightmare I had last night and could not wake up from. Thanks for giving my angst a face so I don't have to try to explain how I feel inside today. Sorry for misplaced critique. I'm new here but I'll get the hang of things.

the composition is well thought out, the bust is not directly in the center so it is slightly asymmetrical. the highlight is in all the right places, and there is a great sense of chaotic movement that comes across by the use of strokes. my style is rather sketchy (i call it messy) and this piece is right up my alley. there are some areas where the dark could have been pushed a little more, but that is just my aesthetic. i could only imagine what an amazing impact this would have if this piece was life size, or a full bodied figure. beautifully done!!

This artwork reminded me (like a lot of people I suspect) ok The Slender Man. However, I guess one could come up with some lore inspired by this picture of how the 'no face' aspect that people so often asscosiate with slenderman is actually a veil or a mask that hides the real face underneath. A face which has emotion, form, and most prominent of all...TEETH.
Ahhhh, just imagining the image of Slender pulling away the mask to reveal a bloodied, gaping maw (like what you've magnificently drawn) gets the creative juices flowing.
