Some time ago I had ran into a tumblr post that mentioned how Disney toons of the 90's were somewhat obsessed with anthropomorphic ducks. I know I used to watch all of these and decided to humanize them. It was fun and now I'm bing watching Darkwing Duck after having ran through the Mighty Ducks Animated Series... I need to find these shows on DVDs.Related content

In all honesty, he started looking like Jason so I threw it out (he's even got the same colored jumpsuit). Besides, I'm sure we can all agree that we like to look at Canard's scowling face.

I like that your humanized Duke doesn't look ancient compared to the others. It's not his fault he's had that gray streak since the day he hatched! Can't wait to see more of your art. It has such a childlike innocence to it. You send me right back to my early teenage days of running home to watch afternoon cartoons and my imaginary adventures with old friends.

LOL! I never though Duke to be ancient! I thought he was the oldest of the group, but not ancient by any stretch of the imagination. I probably made him look too young, but c'est la vie. I'm glad you enjoy this and it brought back some awesome childhood memories ^_^

Yeah... I'm thinking bootleg too. I have all the episodes recorded on VHS (yay, 90's commercials!) and could digitize them myself if I bought the equipment; but, I'm cheap and lazy. If I do buy one, I'll be sure to let you know about the quality!
Lots of people place Duke in his 40's or 50's because of the gray. I've always seen him as early 30's. Yeah, he's the oldest team member, but he's far from ancient.

40-50 range, wow! I always thought of him to be in his late 20- early 30s! And his color shouldn't have anything to do with age because Grin is also grey, and probably younger than Duke.
As for getting the episodes, whey not just get them off youtube or something? You just have to find a nice quality version to download

It's not Duke's gray feathers that make people think he's old, it's the lighter streak in his 'hair.' In my mind, it's always been there; he hatched with it. I dunno, I've just read a ton of fan fictions that place him in at least his 40's. I write him at about 30 in my stories.
You know, you're right. I think I will just download them off Youtube. That should save quite a bit of money!
