Of all the designs of Korra so far, I like yours the most! It reminds me a bit of Sokka and Suki, and I'm hoping Korra turns out to be their granddaughter ^^

Well apparently the new series is supposed to have more mature undertones, but will still have the childish humour we all loved in the original, you probably are close to the actual character's design. Great work!

Yeah, that's more good old fashioned humor. Everyone from Buster Keaton on down has done scenes like that. Nothing childish about it.
About the only childish humor I can think of off the top of my head is the flying buttress line from the Spirit Library episode, and even that was delivered with enough subtlety that it really didn't drag down the mood.
