She wanted a pencil art, no background, of TP & OoT Link having troubles reading a map and as consequence, getting lost on their way xD
I had this idea of both of them exploring Wii TP Hyrule... with the original GC version of the map xDDD Don't ask me xDDD! That just popped on my mind xD
TP Link: That's weird. That's the map I used before!
OoT is trying to make head or tail of that map with his own compass
I actually remade the composition several times. First TP Link was on the floor with the map on the ground too, but it had too much air on the left part of the picture with this kind of perspective, so I decided to stand him up.
My favorite part is definitely the eyes. You can see how different they are in shape here

For some reason I look at this and I imagine them inside a water temple.Β It's ALWAYS the damn water temple, no matter which Zelda game you play.Β I think the only time I actually USED a temple map was inside Ocarina of Time's water temple in search of a chest, ANY chest, that might give me the key I was missing.
Anyway, I love their expressions!Β Perfectly shows the utter bewilderment of every player ever in the history of Zelda where you just stare at the map and go, "Uhhhhh...maybe THIS room has the boss key?Β Or that one?Β Or maybe...have I been there already...?"

This is amazing! The details, the concept, the expressions... everything! The only thing that bothers me is that TP Link's right gauntlet is drawn as OOT Link's. But his left one is correct.

I love that they're both undeniably Link, recognisable as redesigns of each other, but also very much themselves. And ARGH THAT FLIP!! I don't know which map to go on for writing stories. @_@

I actually did that once except I had the GC game and the Wii book. I got all the way to the water temple and had a lot of trouble and run arounds with trying to find the big key. So yeah. not cool. Worst place to get lost and confused is the water temple. From all the games. It's epic.
