And blackbloods are basically sort of like zombies? As their dead creatures then possessed by vengeful spirits of those wronged by the ruling clan (The Halcyon) and goldbloods in a way! Sedge being a mortician and a champion (Cats with the ability to permanently banish these hostile spirits), he knows how to go about dealing with them!
