Description I decided it was time to make a new batch of Beach Beads. This is polymer clay with real seashells.

the beach is my favorite. These were in the Spring 2005 issue of PolymerCafe magazine.

Love the water texture, breaking waves and seafoam are something I've always had difficulty representing.

Very nice!! Did you actually work sand into the clay for the beach, or is that something else? And did you use translucent clay (for the beach I mean)?

I use the Cernit stone colors with Premo white, ecru, pearl, and I sometimes add glitter too. I try to vary the sand color since there are so many beaches in the world. I use a brush to stipple the sand for more texture.

Oh, I forgot about those, how could I???
I think it's because I'm half braindead lately. I definitely know Cernit makes them. Didn't know they looked quite so nice .
