(PLEASE FULL VIEW! THE PREVIEW IS WAY TOO SMALL XP)

The Last supper, at least, that's what my gaian son told me it was called in english, "La última cena" in spanish XD

First of all.. damn the size of it! if it were smaller, I could scan it, but it wont fit in the scanner due to its size XP, if it were bigger, the photograph would look better, but it's too small for photograps! XP

I did this one 'cause my father was bugging me, he said that he wouldnt admit that I could actually do cross-stitches unless, and only unless, I were able to do the Last Supper.... so.. here it is! and yap.. he admited it already xD, he said he'll frame it as soon as possible, I hope before next year at least xD

Even if I finished it... I'm not totally pleased about the final result :/ I took the pattern from a magazine, and... it said it needed around 70 colours... as they dont sell DMC by numbers here... it was a pain to collect the thread needed for it.. and I just found about 25 colours, so I had to use substitutes for almost everything ;_________; (damn my country for that!). As I said, it was from a magazine, but the color key was weird, as there were so many colours involved, they used weird symbols for the pattern, or different colours so you wouldnt get confused, as it all would become clear once you had the correct DMC in your hands.. nice idea.. if you HAVE the DMC ;_;, that's why I made many mistakes.. but a HORRIBLE one... the blonde dude... he was supposed to be an old man.. but he had green and yellow hair in the pattern.. I thought that maybe he was supposed to be blonde.. but no, he was just old. After that one I started to look at the real thing more often... I also didnt want to do all the things in the table.. so I just did the 13 cups of wine.. and some bread and dishes xD (there were more in the pattern.. but I was sick of doing this one already xP)

Something I really liked about the pattern was that the single hand holding a knife was also included in it XD (but it kinda looks like that blonde old man is holding it, instead of being a single hand.. pattern's mistake.. not mine XD)

Done it about 2 months and a half, finished it on dec 30th/06 n_n

Ha-ha! you were wrong dad : D (but I will only do anime/cartoon characters from now on.. I get more fun from it xD)

ahhhhh! just in case you were wondering, this one has almost the same number of stitches than my Beast Boy's one ([link] ), around 50,000 but it was way more complicated to do, as it involved so many colours.. it's also smaller, due to the kind of fabric I used.
