At least Marvin looked better visually than the Hong Kong Phooey teaser. I do like how his flurry-walk was animated.
But why do they always have to make classic cartoon characters look almost photo-realistic in CGI? It's not like adapting the cartoon style in CG is impossible, but they always choose to give them fur and those freaky looking almost-human eyes. Yuck.

Holy shit, I hope it's true that this will never come to pass. I'll admit, the CG Marvin was pretty cool, and better than I thought it would be when I first heard of this movie, but I hate hate HATE Human Focused Adaptations! I'm not lying when I say I actually created and wrote the TV Tropes page on those fucking things!

It's not going to happen. They've basically stopped production on it.
Now what we really have to worry about is the CGI Bugs Bunny movie they plan to make.

Test footage doesn't automatically mean movie.
You can find test footage for Disney's Where the Wild Things are and Roger Rabbit 2, and neither of those films were ever made. Not saying that there isn't a possibility that either film won't happen, But the Marvin the Martian movie was supposed to come out last year and nothing has come out of it since.
