Edit: I took away the background text because I just wasn't happy with it. I also changed a bit of the hair/added some strands because... well... I was bored.Green...
Sometimes, you run across an image that just begs to be vectored, and is so unbelievably easy to work with - everything just flows and fits perfectly, and you don't have to spend time fixing your mistakes. This was one of my quickest (and favorite) vectors, taking a little less than 2 hours.

have you ever tried to duplicate all your layers in photoshop to take a gauss filter on those duplicates? no?
before you do that... make gradients into your layers..even if theyΒ΄re just four or five pixel thick. then make the thing with the gauss filter and make the filtered layer duplace 40% transparent. it will look beautiful here.. trust me.

Thanks for the tip... I will have to try it out sometime. Only, I don't do any of my vectors in PhotoShop... I do them in FreeHand MX (this one included). Although, the last time I checked, FreeHand DID have some blur filters in it, so I will have to see...

The typo does need some work, but I know what you mean by some images just scream VECTOR ME! and this is a great example of good work. Keep it up!

Yeah I haven't decided if I'm happy with the type... I like the IDEA of it but I don't think it worked like I wanted it to... oh well, maybe I'll update in the future... but thanks for the comment
