While the silly girls cowered underneath the tree, Chumvi seized the moment and joyfully frolicked around in the tall grass, getting every strand of fur soaking wet. "Come on, sillies! This is great!" he shouted back towards them before attempting to catch some rain on his tongue. "This is SO much better than taking a bath!"

Nala and Kula shook her heads and rolled their eyes. "Boys..." they sighed almost in unison. Boys didn't understand that rain was, well... wet! Besides, Nala thought, even if they did join him it wouldn't be half as fun without Simba... Sadness came over the young cub's face.

"Come ooon!" Chumvi tried again, seeing Nala's gloom and purposely trying to distract her from thinking about their lost friend. It still hurt, it did, but it had already been a whole moon since he died and they needed to stop thinking about death and live life... Still no movement from the girls however. Chumvi sighed, but then smiled again. "Well, I love the rain! And you should enjoy it while it lasts!"

Just a few months later, both Nala and Kula wished dearly that they had listened to him.

Chumvi (cub from "The Lion King: 6 new Adventures") enjoying a bit of rain; the last heavy rain before the drought arrives and slowly breaks down the kingdom. It's about a month after Scar claims the throne.
