Description
In the absense of my dear Photoshop I thought it might be a good idea to brush up a little on my real media skills
Iiit's Dhakiya, my Ethiopian Wolf character
She's a little more... yellow than she's supposed to be, but yellow was the closest colour to her lighter markings that I had... xPMan, I'm so out of practise. Both with canines and coloured pencils xD And this looked so much better in person of course
Might replace the scan with a photograph later if I can...And yes, I still like to do "character standing on an elevated spot randomly staring into the distance"-pictures, thank you very much xD

I really like it. You say your out of rpactice but I disagree. The color moves frm light to shadow really gently and it looks amazing. <3

The coloured pencils I used are called "Progresso" and, in case there are several types, I have the woodless ones

I looked them up, I was able to find them for a nice price ((anything cheaper than prismas is nice. ><; )) And sooo...Me thinks I'll buy a set when I have some $. <<.....>>....

I think the colouring is pretty awesome to be honest. Though I guess if you're used to doing a higher quality that's what you'll compare it to. I love how smooth it all is.
I'll be the first to say that elevated staring is always a favourite of mine.

Hehe, yeah, I kinda lost my patience with it XD I was gonna do a properly coloured sky but then I went "Bah, can't be bothered.." and there we go...

Hehe, yeah, I've always preferred to focus on the characters as well, so backgrounds do tend to fall down the priority list... xD
