Is it sad that I am almost like Eridan in every way?

The way I read this illustration is, Eridan is encoved in someone else's dream bubble and isn't aware of it. He is telling himself this. He's certainly prone to feeling disgraceful, useless without having attachment of sort for even a short time duration. And hell, I believe he probably still feels very lonely in others' presence.
