About the differences: you improved the highlights of the bodies and above all Shadow's bracelets, plus the red light makes an interesting effect 
I think you should have kept Sonic's mouth open like the old version instead of showing his teeth, but anyways it looks good like this too ^^Β

Better Lighting... More Details.. Still the "Feet Off Rocks" problem though
But the image looks cinematic enough
is the BG 3D? I suppose not :3 , if you can find some models to make it 3D and add some volume, I think it would blend in more

This is good! The only problem I see is that their shoes reveal they're not actually on the rocks, but it's otherwise very good!
