Greys are extraterrestrial beings believed to be from the Zeta Reticuli system and are probably the most widely recognized alien species. They have become an archetypal image of an intelligent extraterrestrial life form, as well as the possibility that they could be a future evolution of the human species, where over use of cloning and genetic manipulation has damaged their DNA and driven them nearly to the point of extinction.
