SpongeBob SquarePants is one of the many cartoons where characters don't age. In this case, Patrick Star is often portrayed to be a young adult. Given so, what if Patrick aged in real-time? What could he possibly look like if that happened?

What you're seeing above the description is a drawing of Patrick in his 40s. Here, he is a comedian and talk show host in casual clothing. He still may not be the brightest star there is, but his low intelligence can lead to some comedic moments. Note that I redesigned his outfit from one of my older SpongeBob SquarePants drawings.

My headcanon for Patrick's birth year was originally it being 1981, but now it has changed by 1 year to it being 1980 so that Patrick can be around the same age as SpongeBob (at least in my headcanon though). This would make Patrick 18–19 at the time of his debut in 1999, and 42–43 years old as of 2023 (the year this artwork was made).
