Hienoa työtä tämän kanssa!
Yksi juttu vain... Kaikilla kääiöillä on parta. Myös naisilla...

kiitoksia! Ei muuten pidä paikkaansa tuo partajuttu se on vain Tolkienin näkemys kääiönaisista. muitakin variaatioita kääiönaisista löytyy...jonkun evoluutioteorian mukaan kääiönaiset kasvattaa parran vasta avioiduttuaan(vähän niinkuin ihmisilläkin)

A dwarf woman with muscles and red hair, what more could you want? Thanks for the visit by the way.

*cheers* Yay for a pic of a female dwarf. As a lot of people have already stated they're hard to come by, at least here on dA, but I have to give my praise as well.. Good job, dear... lovely textures as well ^_^

love her! it is unusual to see dwarf maidens. in our RP group they are always joking that dwarf women do have a beard too. well, here´s the proof she doesn´t.

Thanks a lot! There are two sides in that.. other side claims that the dwarf women have beards( i think Tolkien has a big influence in that thinking) and the other not I have seen both of the dwarf girls here in DA i myself dont like women with beards

Oh, I really like this version. The darkening of colors really added to it and I do love the textures. Lovely work!

Comparing the two pieces, for me, I'm not liking the textures on the cap and tunic. Likely reason is because the texture you chose itself is more stone like than fabric. It makes her look like a statue a bit, while the original piece without the texture actually "flows" and feels more like cloth? Do you get what I'm trying to say? I think the texture on the shield is great though, since its you know..a shield. It's suppose to be stony and what not.

Another thing is she has no feet, without the feet with just the drop shadow beneath it looks like shes floating in mid air. Draw the feet! Plant her like a tree and she'll only look that much more natural I'd say.

Yargh! I'm not an art critique and my unprofessional critiques remain only that...my own and unprofessional. Take my words with a grain of salt so to speak. Otherwise, keep flexing those art muscles! ")

Good points there thanks for the comments man those texture brushes are cool, but there is so much to learn in using those this kind of critique developes more than just those "great" or "cool" stuff.. so thanks again!

Yargh! Well, take my lame advice with a grain of salt Seriously though, I won't hold any grudges against anyone for saying anything nor will I hold back when I critique others work either. I call it how I see it, just I might be a tad near sighted in my left eye.

Just keep at it man, I totally understand those texture brushes. I myself only use them very minimally and usually try to not rely or use them much. However, they do come in handy for a lot of situations when painting them manually would take hours or days. Just have to know when and how I suppose and you can't learn those if you don't try huh?

Keep it up. Flex them art muscles!
