In Germany, the duel with the sabre or epee remained a custom for honourable members of society until the National Socialist Party banned it when they took over. Challenging a man regardless of social status remains unique for the Scandinavian society, though I doubt it happened very often...

Yeah i recall scars from the duel was IN in that time
