Description Your smile blinded me--
it was like staring into the sun
(I thought you only saw that in commercials)
and I had the sudden urge to sneeze.
I guess I'm allergic
to more than floral orgies.
It took me a bit
to pick my brain back up again,
so I missed the ten-cent pickups
you used just last week
(girls come a dime a dozen--
I'll bet you've been around town twice already).
But then again, maybe you planned it that way.
Life's not much without the sun--
science class taught me that;
who knew chemistry happened outside the periodic table?
So I'm reading too much
between your one-liners again,
and I'm hurtling full-tilt
to smash my heart against the stars (again).
There's a galaxy in your gaze;
did you know that?
(I didn't think so.)
It's full of black holes.
