The lycan pony (Equus ferrus lupus), also known as ponywolf or werepony is a pony-wolf hybrid created by the curse unleashed by Nightmare Moon. It's a fearless, intelligent, strong and mysterious creature, who lives in the forests of Equestria, usually near to cities and villages inhabited by regular ponies. Although it's not an enemy of ponies, and usually the lycan avoids contact with everypony else, several attacks were recorded during the past centuries that ended in the demise of the victims or getting serious injuries and a curable curse. Because of the curse it spreads, which transforms the victims into a wolf, the lycan pony is one of the best known and well researched pony subspecies in Equestria. Hello everypony! This is the official reference pic of my OC Night Breeze, who happens to be a creature of the night. She might be a lycan pony, but she's harmless. In fact, she wants you and the pony community of Equestra to accept her! She regurarly goes to a barbershop to maintain her beautiful, shiny and combed mane and tail, to be sure that her fur is smooth and clean, and she even has manicures and pedicures keep her nasty, sharp claws under control! And I think she had lessons to become a well-manered, good little wolfie. Can we say, she got reformed? I mean just look at her: isn't she adorable with that nice, innocent smile? How could anybody/anypony not like such a kind, beautiful creature?

So, can you fulfill her dreams and accept her? Take your time to answer, she'll be here and be patiently waiting for you to be her newest friend. But let me warn you before befriending her: she will possibly jump into your neck and start licking your face and will be hugging you for a very long time.

And now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to receive a warm hug from this adorable furball...

I'm very proud of this picture. So proud in fact, that I officially made Night Breeze my OC. I don't care that she's a female, I like her very much and I think she'll be an awesome OC!
However, please note that my OC's name, backstory, the description of the species were made up by me and are completely fictional. Which means that she is STILL NOT 1) Rainbow Dash without wings 2) Lyra Heartstrings without horns 3) Octavia with scruffy mane/tail and a different cutie mark! Any resemblence to anypony else with this name, background story, overall apperance, species' description etc. is purely coincidental. Every single deviation/picture that inspired me is properly credited in one of the links below.

UPDATE (October 16, 2015): I decided to switch the original scan with this newer one, mostly because Breezie looks better after being scanned with my current scanner. Plus you might notice that her eyes are much brighter: I made some improvements on this pic with paint.net to make sure that you can see the picture mostly the same way I can see it in real life. I hope you understand and agree with my decision.
