Cool suggestion: make an X with various capsules all mixed together ala X8 but from all the Xs. Just pick the coolest ones
My pick: Chest from X4, Helmet from X2, Legs from X3 and X-Buster from X3 (visually, for effect X2 was the best).

Megaman stuff is alot harder to draw then I expected! I had someone order a character that they wanted similar armour suit design to megaman and protoman and It hought.. if it's anime it'll be no sweat.. I had to try drawing this character over like 12 times conceptually before making something halfway decent.. drawing characters in believeablly animated metallic suits is quite the challenge.. so kudos to you for even attempting it.

i couldn't have recognized it specifically as the x3 armor. i can recognize the gaia/gaea armor, the falcon armor, the ultimate armor, but not the first four.
looks cool as heck. it's clearly megaman, just a little more shiney.

Maybe if you had included his vacuum cleaner-esque buster, some of the lessers would have recognized it.
