Overall it's a really good...

The sky to land seperation is a bit too blurred..
The Charactor on bottom has rather large (not long - wide) feet....

X_X God's I could go on for ages about how much I love this...your stuff inspires me to write- everything about it is inspiring the colours, the mood the characters, like seeing sound and feeling words you know? It's always very powerful, and this is no exception, it's lonely and happy at the same time, like the lonely trail of footsteps in the sand...and the light of the sun and being careless all by yourself and someone you trust. Ah his feet XD I love them, all sort of curled up as he walks through the sand...(my god that would be hot!!!) The backgrounds almost white, apart from the lilac blue of the sky and the egg green of the shadows...it's so beautiful!!!! But now I want to know what happens after that!?!?! Maybe you're picking at the guys legs *tilts head* but I don't think (personally) that it's much of a problem- I think everything else just cancels it out....agh, look at how long this comment is >>;

Maybe add some darker shades to the sand. The characters look great. I don't know if the older guy's head is a little too big. But it looks really awesome. The kid is so cute. ^^

Very nicely done sweetie! ^^ When doing desert sort of scenes always use a darker orange in the background, or thats what I was told by my art teacher anyway Or a grey when its a lighter sand.
But this is very pretty! So dont be to hard on yourself!
