(I'm kind of irked by anime styles with tiny tiny hands.)
It's just my personal preference for the hands to be big enough to be able to cover the face. <: And if I make the wrists smaller, the hands will only seem even bigger. xD
(The size is sort of like a guideline; like the eyes are an eye apart or the length of the shoulder to the elbow is the same as the length of the top of the head to the chin.)
