Description
Been pretty frustrated lately, and designed an Endless Forest character as a sort of vent / experiment. This is the result.

Tentatively named Kanina, otherwise known as Dawn (ironically, metaphorically, literally). The second born to a twin sister who born at nightfall the previous evening, she was very small and malnourished. Kanina was born at the break of day, and did not open her eyes till the setting of the sun for her skin was pink and her eyes a queer, watery red - she was quite blind in the daylight hours. She is linked with the rising sun, yet cannot perceive it. At night, delicate wafer thin wings bloom on her shoulders and retreat at the coming dawn, shielded by feathery tufts that remain constant.

Kanina is a timid creature with a keen sense of independence. Even at night, her ears and nose are far stronger senses than her sensitive eyes, though they are able to perceive light far better than many a creature. Keeps to the very deepest forests and glens where ready shelter of branches and caves can be found to shield her during the light hours.
