Livestream commission. Rounding out our yokai cast is Masaya the Kappa. He is basically the black sheep of the group. In order to make him behave, the others give him cucumbers. Along with his natural weapons, he can also wrestle.

I asked Betsy to design him because I thought it would be fun to see a classic yokai be interpreted in a toony style. I also asked for his hair to cover his eyes (they do become visible at times) because I never seen that done with kappas.

Finally, like Kōichi, I named him after a Japanese voice actor. This time, it was Masaya Onosaka.
