i think these are great designs for tattoo. especially some of the bolder ones. you have a real strong stylisation and character. has a powerful sense of continuity like its a hyroglyphic languge. some type of majical spell or similar. very woodblock. nice

I have terrible faith in my ability to give criticism, but I will say I think these are quite clever and you've emulated the style or Asian prints very well. I'm quite fond of the top right design!

They look great. I'd like them more individually than in a giant scroll though.
Daily deviation IMO,

It would be cool for 4 or 5 years. But i think that would be something to cover up after ten years because lines tend to expand. But if you make it using black lines and white color inside the gaps the expasion could be smoothier.

What's the name of that character to the right eating the man's head? Can you tell me the story?

The droopy eyed Buddha is called Nuribotoke, and after the comments, i think i might try to raster the images out before try to get them inked.

Oh wow! You are going to be doing tattoo designs?I agree that it should be a bit more hard and crisp, but I could really see the soft woodblock print feel on me.

I really like all of these, but what stands out to me is the dark Buddha statue with the drooping eyes, the moon in top right and the one on bottom right.

if were talking stick-on tattoos then i like nice solid lines which would be awesome in a real tattoo but the only thing that would irk me if it was for a real tattoo is that they seem small, i would actually consider some of your artwork more as a tattoo than the solid black n white stuff shown here

oh and check out [link] for Paul Booth's tattoos, my favourite tattoo artist who is a master of putting the macabre and spooky on the skin, perhaps you 2 are related somehow but his style is literally like he's painting on skin

thanks for the critique! the material with the
way that i drew them it was really hard to lift
the images into digital, that was about as much clarity as i could manage. most of the other picture i have up have been inquired about as tattoos at some point or another, but i want something that has more of a woodblock feel if im going to put it on me.

well the positive side is that youve still definitely got the creepy style seeping through i think a big part of drawing up a tattoo is designing it for the specific area you want to get the tattoo on, but make these stick-on too lol
