I needed to prove to myself that I could still draw horses without needing to rely on references. I used to draw them alll of the time when I was younger but lately I've struggled with this kind of thing, so I think this was a good exercise to 'break' that mold. Got to test out my lightbox as well as mess around with different colours and hues. Definitely was a fun little piece. I was going to add a background to this but then I skimped out in the end
