we looked to the heavens , that familiar glow,
filled my heart with awe ,so much so,
that i reached up to grab it right out of the sky
to give to my lover, the light of my eye.
its surface so cold i could not hold on,
i dropped it to earth and it fell like a bomb,
there to lay alone on a desolate hill,
no people can see it so it lays there still
