heihei~

Because 50% of Americans didn't even vote but still feel like complaining about the results. You're part of the problem, mate.

You know what else is so annoying? Democrats blaming people for voting for third party candidates. I voted for Gary Johnson and I would not have voted for either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump. And there are others who also feel this way.

I KNOW. I would have cited green if I were American and I hear people blaming third party voters and it just like "yes... because I didn't vote for trump."

I got really pissed off at Seth McFarlane on Twitter. So replied to his tweet about Gary Johnson votes. Then there was another tweet from another person and I got like 11 likes or so.

On the night Seth Meyers mentioned brought Gary's Aleppo mistake, I went on facebook and try to bring up a point. Then Hillary's supporters/Seth Meyer's fan base attacked me. Apparently "Everyone knew and remembered Aleppo. That's why internet searches for Aleppo spiked when Gary Johnson mentioned it. And I love how none of the liberals even once mentioned what Gary said after he made his blunder. He said that he would try to talk to Russia about a possible cease fire. And that is what the current administration did. Talked to Russia on cease fire. That is until a plane fired a missile that killed Syrians soldiers.

Yup.thats why we should stay out of regime change and stop acting like the world's police. By supporting the rebels, the US helped create Isis. The invasion of Iraq strengthened Al Qaeda. It's like a wise man once said: Don't start a war you know you can't win.

I didn't vote bc I knew my state would go blue, and it did. Even if everyone in my entire state had voted for Hillary, she would have received the exact same number of electoral votes. The reason I didn't vote was because voting would have meant skipping either class or work, because election day isn't a holiday here. In fact, 2 million more individual people voted for hillary than trump and she still lost. You're blaming individual people for a systemic issue.

EHXKOR In reply to dogbitecatfight [2016-11-25 03:25:33 +0000 UTC]

While I do agree that the system is rigged to a degree, I still strongly believe that participating in the elections is the responsibility of citizens of the country. However, I do understand your reasoning for missing the polls. In the end, your schooling and work is probably more important.

I mean, that's nice that you believe that, but it's still kind of a bad comic. Like, for one thing, your Obvious Strawman saying "Hillary was supposed to win" is kind of stupid in light of the fact that she *did* win the popular vote, so unless Strawman lives in Pennsylvania or Ohio it wouldn't have made a difference regardless. On top of that, imo it's a little disingenuous to give your Rational Author Opinion Mouthpiece an "I voted" shirt when you're not even a US resident, so you *definitely* didn't vote. I'm sorry if I sound like a dick, and we've spoken before so you know I like you as a person and I like your work, but this comes off as really ignorant and condescending.

EHXKOR In reply to dogbitecatfight [2016-11-25 03:57:16 +0000 UTC]

Well that's your opinion, and you're free to have one. The media had kept saying that Hillary was going to win by a landslide, which could very well have prompted a lot of her supporters to not go out and vote. nearly half of the population didn't even bother, and I find it kind of silly that people will go out and riot over something that they could have potentially done something about but chose not to. That was what the point of this comic was. If I were an american citizen, I wouldn't have gone for Trump or Hillary, but I would have probably voted green. I don't think you're being a dick, you're just voicing your opinion, and I really do appreciate you doing so in the manner in which you have rather than what I was afraid I might receive at some point.

I'm not really following your thinking here. I'm not sure why you're assuming that the people going out to protest are the same ones who didn't vote, because in my experience that's completely untrue. It doesn't even hold up from a common sense oerspective; like, somebody didn't give enough of a shit to even go to a polling station but suddenly they're willing to go out and "riot?" Most of the people who I've talked to who abstained from voting (unless, like me, they did so because they could not physically get to a polling station) did so because they felt Hillary was just as bad as Trump, not because they assumed she'd win. Youre also saying the outcome of the election is "something [voters] could have done something about," but again, for people who live in blue states it would have been literally impossible to alter the election by voting without physically moving to a swing state, becoming a resident, and voting there.

EHXKOR In reply to dogbitecatfight [2016-11-25 04:16:26 +0000 UTC]

You are right in the sense where I am unsure if the people who are rioting are the same ones who didn't vote or not, however, that is always a possibility. I don't really know how things run during election season in the US, or even here where I live, as I missed the election here by two months. Feel free to educate me on the subject, though!

I'm not sure what you want to know regarding the US elections, although I can do my best to answer any specific questions you have. I am confused why you decided to make an inflammatory comic regarding the US election and people's reactions to it if you knew you were coming from a position of ignorance, though.

I mainly made this just as a way of expressing some feelings that I had over the election while adding a humourous kick to it.
