This is the Rapture; the Insurgent's main weapon of choice. It is a heavy gunblade modified to an unbelievable extent to meet its owner's demand for versatility and adaptability. By default, the Insurgent will use this in fights, and depending on the situation at hand, will continue using it or discard it in favour of another weapon that's more suitable for the battle. Like its owner, the Rapture has the ability to adapt by utilizing several different fire modes and can reform itself slightly to change how it is wielded.

1.
The stock and blades are capable of extending, effectively turning the gunblade into a gunlance. This mode is used when its owner is riding a mount.

2.
This protrusion serves as a handle for the wielder to place their free hand, should they wish to utilize the gunblade more like a regular rifle.

3.
Just like almost all of the Insurgent's arsenal, the blades of the Rapture are glazed with tiberium. This ensures that even a small cut can be deadly if the crystal is allowed to spread.

4.
The revolver-style drum appears to hold up to eight rounds. However, through some unknown mechanism, it actually holds far more than eight rounds. The gunblade is reloded by simply ejecting the expended shells, and the wielder apparently has no need of inserting new ones into the drum.

In order to be holstered, the Rapture folds its blades and barrel. The weapon rests on the wielder's back when not in use.

The Rapture's shots are very powerful. In order to avoid overheating, these cooling vents expel hot steam and radioactive fallout after every shot.

Available fire modes:
Shotgun - shoots a wave of pellets forward
Seeker - fires a single, long-ranged round to snipe distant targets.
Gattling - utilze a full-auto fire mode and fire a continuous spray or bullets.
Shatterer - Instead of firing solid bullets, this fire mode emits a powerful blast of sonic energy that can blast holes into stone walls.
Elysian Fire - Unleashes a powerful explosion comparable to the breath of an elder dragon. This produces so much heat, the gunblade's safety mechanism prevents any further use of the gun until it cools down completely. All the while, the cooling vents will jet out flames instead of just steam.

The Rapture also has a failsafe mechanism. Somehow, the weapon knows who its wielder is. Should anyone other than the Insurgent pull the trigger, the weapon will backfire and explode, often killing the wielder and starting a tiberium outbreak. The weapon can easily be repaired, should this happen.
