Why are bruises called black-and-blues if they're purple?

Note to self:
Never draw Tyler's head. Ever.

Seriously, that thing needs its own name. I have never seen a shape like that in my life. I shall call it a Tylergon :T

And who seriously goes out wearing so much of one color? I hated coloring all the red in Tyler's outfit, lol.

So, yeah. Is it just me, or does drawing lineart take forever? It's probably just me. Most of the process of drawing a picture is making the lineart! Sketches are easy because they're just carefree, but I always try to make my lineart as neat and clean as possible.

Yeah, this is the first time I've ever really drawn Tyler. Well...not the first time.

So I guess I've improved since then xD
My noob stage on dA o Ao
And that was just ONE example...

But anyway!
I added a bit of lighting from the window in the background.
Oh yeah, and fail backround is fail.

Tyler's pupils are big in this. It makes him look really innocent xD
Is that blushing I see Tyler?

Ugh this picture took forever to finish!
