Yes, the horrible caligraphy in Chinese is my own. Above is the pinyin pronounciation.
Curiosity: China's expression on "4" is due the fact that the word "4" in Chinese sounds very similarto the word "death", being a very unlucky number.

Ethnically speaking my family is a mix of ethnic groups from China, my 4 grandparents are indeed Chinese and moved to Brazil when they were young. But because my father's family are of Hakka origin and my mother's family comes from Shanghai (and none of them except one of my grandmothers knew mandarim) they cannot communicate with each other in Chinese, they have different dialects. Therefore, my generation never actually learned Chinese at home, I grew up listening to Portuguese only
So it is more correct to say that I am a descendant of Chinese (and, therefore, yes, Asian) people rather than other Asian society, like Japan, India, Indonesia, etc, because I don't anyone from my family that came from other country than China. But, nationality-wise, I am Brazilian, South American, since I was born in Brazil.
I have a cousin though that decided to learn mandarim. I myself gave up and decided to study Japanese due to work, LOL. I am in fact now quite used to read numbers in Chinese because I've already learned those as kanji in Japanese class.

I never heard the Hakka word , in which part of China they're (geographically) mostly are or coming from (if it's a nomadic tribe ethny?)

Hakka people used to live near Guangdong, but are not to be mistaken by Cantonese people. But they are a small ethnic group compared to the rest of China, and not many people actually speak their dialect so it is practically considered a dead dialect nowadays, since mandarin became the official language in the main country. The speech pattern though, according to my grandma, is very similar to Cantonese.

I'm not offering my own relatives if you wonder^^ ,but I know they are possibility of working in an organic farm in HK , for free , you live with an English/cantonese speaker , help a hand , learn about organic farm , and got free time for wondering about yourself in the city
I doubt that it interest you in thoses days , but I wanted to tell you about it , at leats you know it actually exist possibilities like thoses , if you're into thoses possibilities ^^
I don't know about "china china" but you might be interested by knowing people or know association for doing so , in a completely foreign country

Oh, I've heard about something like that! Sounds interesting, but impossible for me due to my current situation (trying to get stable in a new job and studying). I actually would love to have enough money and time to travel to many countries, hahaha, I like to travel, but I've only been to USA, Canada and Argentina.

what do you read mostly , in America? (really , I talk in general) I Wonder about the country , and I did finish a book that I adore , it's from a certain Karen T.Walker , and I just loved it..just like a book a relative of mine send me , this one even more, more , more!
I just loved R.A Salvatore , and he entertained me during.woot , months , i kept buying his book , unfortunately , they stopped the print and I lost interest in the same time..so.^^
We did study even modern (nowawdays!!!^^) american litterature at school and so..
they have typial style , how can I describe that..
Even if it's translated I just knew without looking the autor name than , i guessed it was an american writer , when I was reading the book, just loved it so much.

No money for that and no time as well, I don't have any known relatives in China anymore except for one distant relative that moved to Hong Kong, the rest they all moved either to Brazil or USA. Been to USA a couple of times already to visit them ^^

I was born (and currently living) in a region considered to be part of "Spain", my father is Spanish... And I have a terrible Spanish accent, plus I'm not as fluent as I'd like to be in this lgg

A good number of kanjis (Japanese ideograms) are the same in Chinese, since the Japanese writing system is based on the Chinese one.

I didn't know 4 was an unlucky number in China, just like in Japan. I study Japanese and kanji (or ideograms) are my worst nightmare >_<. Damn you Yao for doing your writing system so frustrating!
