Hey everyone! HuaYue and I have created a rp-group that's all about taking your characters worldhopping into all sorts of worlds and settings!
Basically it's an opportunity to drop your character into all sorts of AUs! You can apply to the group with a character from any kind of setting!

On a surface level, Zeying appears to be just another lazy and languid battle nut who has more brawn than brains. But this is only an image he projects because he’s spiteful and can’t be bothered using his EQ for people he deems unworthy. So to people who don’t know him well enough, he just seems like a snarky and blunt brawler who doesn’t know how to sweet talk or manipulate anyone. Because of the kind of environment he was raised in, he is highly perceptive to people’s attempts to lie to him. And he can’t stand people who are so obvious in their attempts to manipulate him because it means that they must think he’s dumb enough to fall for it. Therefore, if people are going to underestimate his EQ so badly, why should he bother to use his EQ in return?
Zeying’s upbringing has made him very paranoid about what other people’s motives might be, and he often thinks that people are smarter than they actually are because his paranoia makes him think that they must be planning something. This paranoia is nearly impossible for him to shake off, and once he’s decided that he can’t trust you, he’ll view all of your actions in the light of being part of some greater conspiracy. The type of people he’s willing to trust and be loyal to are people who are straightforward and sincere. However it is difficult to get on this list of people because he views all strangers with suspicion and his definition of what counts as manipulating or lying to him varies with how paranoid he’s feeling.
Zeying has been raised to be blackbellied and manipulative, but he despises this kind of behaviour and his morals usually don’t allow him to be manipulative. However, if pushed to a certain point, he is capable of temporarily letting go of his morals.
Zeying is capable of being loyal and gentle to a select amount of people he trusts. He has rarely encountered people who he can trust so he becomes protective of the few who haven’t tried to manipulate him. But if you get on his bad books, he’s very spiteful and vengeful and won’t forgive the smallest of slights.
Despite appearing like he has no self control and an explosive temper, Zeying is actually highly disciplined and has a vicious control over his emotions. He can keep himself in check and give no reaction at all if it’s to his benefit.

History
Lang Zeying was born into a clan renown for its great martial cultivators. However the Lang clan was a treacherous place, with constant power struggles as various clan heads fought for dominance. Zeying was born the first son from the main wife of a clan head, and thus from the moment he was born, he was used as a tool against the other families. He learnt that he could not trust anyone, and in particular, could not trust his family. He learnt how to read people’s intentions and detect signs that they were trying to manipulate him. His abhorrence of manipulators and backstabbers became deep seated. The clan taught him cultivation and set him to fight for survival against all the other main sons of the clan. He developed a berserker mode that would not end before he either defeated all of his opponents or was taken out. It was a vicious dog eat dog world, and he was the wolf his clan had raised him to be.
The clan’s internal fighting eventually was their downfall, and when Zeying was 11 years old, the clan collapsed and his parents were killed in the slaughter that ensued. Zeying managed to escape and if any members from the rest of his clan managed to survive, he was not aware of it. He was quickly hunted down by a martial organisation that was only known to him as The Organisation. The Organisation specialised in taking in kidnapping children with cultivation potential and training them so that they could complete missions.
Zeying was tossed into a mass brawl with all the other new recruits to test his abilities, and with his martial training and his berserker mode triggered, he flattened his competition. Under his new master, he was taken in by his new eldest sect brother, Lang Zemeng. He spent the first few months being paranoid and analysing his eldest sect brother for any signs of manipulation, because he was sure Lang Zemeng must have some greater master plan. But later he figured out that he was wasting his time overestimating everyone else’s conniving nature because that was all he had known his whole life.
The Organisation was also where he met Wanyun who became his medic on missions. Wanyun and Zeying clashed on ideologies and didn’t get along well in the beginning. But after going through a lot of life and death situations and realising that Wanyun had his back, he figured out that they didn’t get along because Wanyun had been brainwashed to be unconditionally loyal to The Organisation. Zeying ends up spending nearly a decade slowly de-brainwashing him, until the ultimate test comes. A rebellion was brewing inside The Organisation and Zeying told Wanyun that he plans to be part of it. Luckily, his trust was not misplaced and Wanyun chose him over The Organisation.
However, just when Zeying thought it would be all smooth sailing from there on out, the rebellion took a turn for the worst and he ended up dying during its collapse. He woke up after his death at Qianqiu Academy, ready to fight for the peaceful life he’s been dreaming of with Wanyun.
