Description ~~  Different, not Evil -Ranch Doc ~~

For mods, This submission includes a 1,200 -word story about the background of this Mon. So 14 Levels on top of the ref sheet for a total of 18 Levels.

Beep-boop, my first CC clutch Mon to get a ref and backstory!
Also yeah, since most of my clutches are Non-canon, I'm writing her as Arcus 's daughter. You will want to disregard the "parents" in the clutch submission. You'll REALLY want to disregard them, LOL. Otherwise stuff may get awkward.

She's also the first (Or second, if we count Arcus, lol) Mon of mine to have a known family member in the story! Exciting. :3c

 History

Thalia is such a sweet friend to have. She always brings us herbs and other food to cook with! She never says a word but she's very willing to help if you just ask her nicely.

The following morning Oliver was allowed to sleep late. He hadn't slept well for quite a while due to having to worry about his new neighbours but at least while staying at Mishka and Maggie's tent, he didn't need to worry about anything. Still, a tinge of tired aching lingered in his muscles as he forced himself to stand up and follow Lora out of the caves and towards the spot where that large Pokémon, Arcus, had deemed suitable for Oliver's tent. Colin, May and James had gotten here in the morning to set up as much as they could. It was further away from the other people's homes than Oliver had expected but at this point he really didn't mind. Honestly, he was considering picking a spot even further away but the only reason he accepted this spot was so he wouldn't inconvenience the Pokémon who offered to help him with too long of a trek to get to him.
"He's saying, you can get water from the cave where Maggie and Mishka live and food you can either trade for from the people of the settlement or hunt your own," Lora translated Arcus' guidance to Oliver as they walked around the area.
Oliver rubbed his right arm with his hook hand and peered into the dephs of the forest around him. "Colin is pretty good at hunting, from what I've seen and May can fish. I think I'd rather trust them than those people."
Lora closed her eyes for a moment and shook her head. "Yes. You did get quite the first impression of their hospitability. I would worry about poisoned food too."
Arcus glanced to Lora and made a gesture that resembled a sigh, even if he didn't actually need to breathe.

As Arcus showed them a pile of stone and sand, talking about how they could build a good cooking pit, Oliver spotted someone in the distance, approaching from the woods with a basket in her arms. A Pokémon? She looked like a woman in a black dress but her head was much, much larger than it should be and she had no feet below her ankles. The basket was filled with herbs, fruit and something that Oliver would later on find out was fish wrapped in large leaves.
Arcus nodded and gestured to the approaching Pokémon and began to talk to Lora again.
Lora was quiet for quite a while which prompted Oliver to shoot her a look.
"Thalia, huh..." Lora hummed, flinched out of her thoughts, when she realized Oliver was staring at her, and returned to her duty, "Arcus' Daughter, Thalia will help you get settled. Arcus will need to get to work but Thalia has all the time in the world. You can ask anything about the surrounding areas. She doesn't speak much, though, so you may want to ask yes-or-no questions, or to have her show where things are."

With Lora's translation finished, Arcus nodded and began to make his way back to the settlement. He waved a hand at Thalia and gestured towards Oliver and Lora. Thalia nodded at her father and leisurely howered over to Oliver and Lora. Thalia briefly reached the basket towards him but soon realized Oliver didn't have any way of securely holding it with just one hook hand. No one said a word for a while. Thalia glanced to the side while scratching on her face with an index finger.
"Oh yes-. Ollie, remember, she doesn't really speak, I suppose," Lora reminded.
"Uhh, I don't know what to ask ab...out... But thanks for offering to help! Umm," Oliver stammered and peered into the basket but turned to look over Thalia's shoulder. A bit further away, Colin, James and May were setting up the tent. "Can you go help them? I would but I can't really do much. I'll try to think of something to ask!"
Thalia gave Oliver a tiny smile and a nod before turning to approach Colin, May and James. She placed the basket before May who began to go through the contents.

Oliver let out a sigh and relaxed his shoulders. "I know so little I don't even know what to ask about," he said and glanced to Lora who seemed to be deep in thought.
"You know, Ollie-dear. I fear me leaving was a premature decision. It seems like you could still use my help, as a translator and such." Lora briefly glanced to Oliver from the corner of her eye but shifted her gaze back to the tent builders. Her attention soon returned to Oliver as she realized the way he stared to her. Even with his mask on, his eyes made it obvious he was beaming.
"Yes! Do stay with us! Do you want a tent of your own or do you want to stay with us? I'm guessing you'll need a lot of space for your, uh, magic-witch-stuff?"
Lora took a moment to gather herself. She had forgotten how excitable Oliver could be. It was quite refreshing, honestly. "A tent of our own would be nice. Lair decided to stay with Thea and I instead of travelling on his own too. I will have to return and tell them but we can probably get everything here in a timely manner. Especially if we can get Colin and James to help us."
Oliver nodded and reached to grab Lora's wing with his arms. "I'm sure he'll love to help! We can build a really cool tent complex like Mishka and Maggie too!"

Lora allowed Oliver to drag her over to the tent-building site. Thalia turned out to be a great help with her five-fingered hands and ability to hower and the tent was almost complete already.
"Hey, Colin! Lora will stay with us this time! You can help her move and get settled, right?"
Colin gave a nod in reply and turned to Lora. He spoke to her for a while, said something more to James, and started to jog off back towards Mishka and Maggie's cave.
Lora turned to Thalia. "And you can look after Oliver while we're away, yes?"
Thalia nodded.
"Your father said you will help him for quite a while. Several days, I suppose?"
Again, Thalia nodded.
Lora tapped on her own cheek with a wing. "Good. I'll leave him in you and May's care then. We should return in a couple of hours but I would love to get a tour of the surrounding areas from an expert. I will need to find places to harvest all the ingredients I will need, after all." Lora howered backwards the way Colin had gone.

Oliver watched in silence until May began saying something to Thalia while holding up a leaf-wrapped fish. Thalia nodded with a tiny smile and began to collect fallen braches.
"Lunchtime?"
May nodded in reply and reached a tendril towards the pile of rocks Arcus had shown earlier.
"Gotcha!" Oliver's task would be to set up the ring of stones for a campfire. They should have all they need to make a compfortable settlement of their own, just for Oliver and his Pokémon friends!

(1,227 words = 1,2200 words + 1000-word bonus = 14 Levels for Thalia and Arcus . Won't take levels for the rest since their parts were smaller aaaand Lora is still Level 100!)

((And THIS should be the last part of the "backstory" for Oliver and his squad. They have finally found the human settlement, been rejected by the people, and formed an alliance of their own! Now, I can finally focus on stand-alone stories instead of this long, overarching plotline. x'D Granted, I did leave out some things simply because I didn't have a specific Pokémon to use for those parts buuuut oh well. Time skips are great. :U ))

 Extras
Thalia loves plants, especially flowers. She knows the best places to pick herbs, berries and whatnot even if she doesn't really NEED to eat, being a ghost and all.

Thalia is Arcus 's daughter and was so even before they became ghosts. There is a sad story here... time will tell if I'll choose to write it. :U

Also yeah. Here comes a prime example of "I don't track Pokémon lineages on non-canon clutches". She's now Arcus ' kid, even if she came from a WAY different clutch! :U If a clutch is non-canon, it's non-canon, which is like 99% of all clutches I make. So yeah. If you're someone that tracks lineages, it's good to know that I sure don't. XD I kinda wish we could omit parents on non-canon clutches but oh well. Yeah. Story-wise, she has no prior connections to Lora and all the connections to Arcus!

Thalia CAN speak, but she does so very rarely. She pretty much only speaks to her father, and in emergencies if she has to use Screech or Sing to diffuse a situation.
