Mary has become a top dancer in both name and in reality. But she makes sure not to forget her original spirit and continues to enjoy genuinely enjoy dancing. Because that is her pride.
One of my favorite Pop'n Music characters has a birthday today (sadly passed over in Japan), so i thought i would
draw the gorgeous dancer of the Pop'n series, Mary~!
I have been meaning to draw her for a very long time, but never got to until today - she's really pretty!
I really like her style, designs and her personality.
In fact, Mary has been a longtime favorite of mine, before i even saw her friend Judy.

She was one of the very first Pop'n characters i grew a huge liking to in Pop'n Rhythm, along with Kobe,
MZD, Poet, Hamanov and Sanae-chan! Mary also has a really good style, as i mentioned before but since she has so many great designs,
it's hard for me to pick a fave. Though i especially really like this one from Pop'n 9!
I'm a huge fan of the pants, the accessories and the bandana!
So, Mary is both a close friend and rival with Judy, one of my favorites from Pop'n and often spends time
dancing with or against her. Though while Judy is an upbeat and a perky dancer, Mary's more mysterious about her personal life
but is well known and often complimented for her great dancing skills.
Believe or not, Mary's actually one of the few characters to have their ages canon! She's 19 years old, even though i mistook her
for being much older, likely due to the looks for many years.
Besides her beautiful design and mysterious personality, i like her songs a lot too~! Some of my favorites include Joy and Tenohira no Hakumei,
the songs i inspired from to make the wonderful background.
I hope Mary had a great birthday today - she was fun to draw though a bit hard to get the skin color correct~!
