Here's the second birthday fanart of the Love Live series, with this time not being an actual crossover - it's the birthday girl herself~.
But this time, i managed to do it properly this time, as i was too early with my Nozomi drawing, which it's time i was criticized for.. Even if it's over in Japan now.
Here's my drawing of the birthday girl, Mari Ohara in her shining glory!
She's just as prideful for her exciting birthday today, and in fact she's a queen of the day today. XD
Mari herself is actually quite the character. I mean, she isn't one of my favorites from Aqours, but she's just super shining with her personality!
She's very unique, both design and personality wise, even her heritage is, as she's Italian-American-Japanese!
Mari used to be somewhat a favorite of mine when i first discovered Love Live.
Like when i drew Mari in my favorite outfit of hers last year, which was in her Cat Wonderland outfit, this elegant outfit of hers is my
new favorite outfit of hers!! My god, do i adore the elegant design and the colors of it! It's just so gorgeous that i was in love with it's design
when i first saw it being released!! I thought i would draw her as an Arabian queen at the palace.
She looks quite prideful in her Arabian outfit, no?
I'm a huge sucker for anything African/Arabian related designs, and this one didn't fail me to really enjoy it's design and colors!
But due to it's complexity, i somewhat simplified it so it can make it easier for me to draw and color, even though
the gold bracelet on her leg was somewhat added by rushing. >.<
Though of the drawing overall, i was especially proud of the coloring, the background and the pose!
Even though the legs were a bit off, i'm pretty much satisfied with how it came out. I think it may be one of the best drawing i have made so far this year~.
I hope Mari had a great birthday today - she was so much fun but a bit challenging to draw!

But thank you anyways! Anatomy is the thing i struggle the most when it comes to art, so
it needs a lot of work for me. ;o;
