So this is the first part of my project;

So, starting from the start, we have Samus' power suit which has been slightly derived from my previous submission (Here - [link] )

Basically the suit still re-uses the missile activation as noted in the very first Metroid game, where parts of her armour would grow blue. I've added slight separation of the plates and openings in the armour, allowing the light to come out of her suit.

This version's arm cannon is quite a departure from what we normally have seen; The central portion of the cannon holds four compartments on every side. When arming herself for missile usage, the compartments pivots outwards and slides forward, connecting with their coinciding split barrel counterpart which splits out and slides back. This merging provides a twofold functionality. The first is that it aids in the shock absorption of firing her powerful missiles, rather than just the absorber behind the barrel, which stretches outwards in missile mode. The second function is it places the arm cannon in the position to readily assemble the missiles to fire, each compartment contributing the the four sides of the missile casing, with the internal cannon's energy itself being supplied into the head through the centre.

She's set with one booster on her back as this is the first and thus lightest version of her suit, also the cause for her slimmer look due to thinner armour plating. Her boots are currently simple at the moment, as they are to take on multiple armour upgrades such as the high jump boots.
