And surroundind the heart dozens and dozens of snail shells,like the remains of dead loves,souls or people.Mademe sad and think a little about that.How many have been sacrificed over time on the altar of that abstract and elusive feeling we call "love"?
Technically a great macro,really liked it...but it my state yeah,made me even more sad.

Thank you for your comment . I really enjoy reading your photo-analysis . As for the feeling it inspired you , it's not quite what I hoped for . It was supposed to be happy , sweet , whatever . The only question that I have is wheter it made you sader because you were already sad or because it's just a sad picture

I just gave it a +30 contrast because I'm more into photography than photomanipulation . I want to reach that point where I'll submit a photo without any later ajustments (just frame and signature) . But what do you have in mind ?

Dunno, probably something about changing the overall colouring... like a B&W with different tonal range maybe.
I know what you mean, I've discussed about this matter recently with :devroseonthegray: in her journal (that was a discussion about the bounds of "photomanipulation" though). Think about this: what if you had a camera that let you edit all the general settings that can be easilly edited through PS? (some DSLRs are quite close to it) Like with Camera RAW shooting, in digital photography it is not so important if you're adjusting things during the shot or after. But I understand your point.
