Miyamoto in Fate would certainly make Kojiro less of a background character given their rivalry.

EXACTLY what I had in mind. Kojiro was an aberration so I wouldnt give the idea of him being a "fictional character" summoned with no memories of his historical past full credit since he was summoned by another servant... so given a character with historical record, Sasaki Kojiro would most definitely play a part in my version of the story.

That's a really good question my friend..the only answer I could give you is that a couple of things I've noticed so far from all fate series versions and storylines... all female sabers have the same look. Arturia, Nero Ceasar, Mordred. even Gawain who's a guy looks like a genderbent arturia. so just because they all look the same doesnt mean they're the same historical/fictional figure... and Nero Ceasar has bigger breasts than all other female sabers....

You do know that Arturia and Nero look alike because King Arthur himself was likely based off the Roman general
Lucius Artorius Castus? That, and both Mordred and Gawain are related to Arturia, one being her "child" and the other being her nephew.

Yes however there's no absolute rule that states that it always have to be related to Arthur Pendragon. The fact that Nero is in complete contrast to Arturia. the basic rule of the saber class is a hero with exceptional skills in close-to-mid ranged meelee combat. even at that point, it does not lock the saber class to swordsmanship alone. and as for rank, each class do not have to be of royalty but of at least be of Nobility or at least be of prominence or significance in society. the only consistent factor I've noticed is that, although not a rule, is that if genderbent, then the same face applies.
piecing all that together, you have 4 factors that I aimed for. a warrior of exceptional skill in close combat, to deviate from the usual swordsmanship and go for dual-wielding, a historical background of half fact and half claims, and lastly, a non-european.
so yea, I ended up with Miyamoto Musashi, Greatest swordsman in recorded history.

Oh well, I don't feel the need to adhere to such a rule myself. XD
In my own Fate story (not the collab I mentioned elsewhere), Saber is Tange Sazen, who has been portrayed both as male and a female, depending on source.

a swordsman of fiction or I'm guessing from unconfirmed records. usually depicted as a samurai with no master/lord and a long scar across his right eye, somewhat like an old Yakuza. I dont know his background but I do know is he's more renowned in pop culture than actual folktales and such

Yeah, I chose Sazen due to the exceptional background, making that character like a reverse Sasaki Kojirou.
Since Sasaki was a myth in Fate and not a real hero, I figured Sazen was an actual hero instead of a fictional warrior.

thanks. I'm actually gonna work on another design... like less armor. just like in the series, when she's not in combat, she wears casual clothes so I'm aiming for that.

hmmm... I'll consider that since my friends had been requesting for me to re-design the armor.... they wanted more boobage... I said no but I can make the outfit a bit more feminine than it is now. thanks for the suggestion, i greatly appreciate it
