I did quite a few Rei shots on a lake or the sea, but I always wanted to do a Rei photo in a (public) swimming
pool to get a photo with an somehow "cold" and sterile look.
At least in my region, that is not such an easy task. If you take your camera with you to a swimming pool, you
sure get into troubles sooner or later and in quite a lot of public pools it's not allowed anyways.

As for me I didn't really thought I could get in troubles because I can understand not all peole want to get
photographed in their bathing suits and I try to avoid to have people on my figure shots.
Therefore I looked out for a pool in a small village where there hardly are any people. In fact, on that day
there was no one there at all, except me and my Rei figure.
Well, after a few test shots with the figure, I got troubles with the pool attendant, the police had to come
and I even got a rude letter from the mayor of that hicksville. The reason for all the hysteria was that they
thought I'll upload the photos with my swimsuit Rei figure on various porn sites and that would make a bad
impression on their jerkwater town (I'm not joking, this is a true story word by word).

So my next attempt was to take photos at a well known swimming pool in a larger town where people are a bit
more educated and professional on how to deal with the strange whishes of some tourists. But in a large public
pool you just are never alone, even if you go there very early. Yet, they gave me the permission to do some
shots with my beloved Rei, as long as I don't take pictures of other people. And the pool visitors where very
polite and understanding giving me enough time and space to finally take some Rei shots on the pool without
having anybody else on the picture. Thank you guys for that!

Figure is made by Aizu, 1/8 scale made of polystone (so I had to be veeeery careful).
