For some reason....I want to believe he is actually an Adeptus Astartes (Space Marine). Perhaps the Primarch of one of the two lost Chapters/Legions. Although they were scattered to different planets throughout the galaxy, some of which were as primitive as ancient Terra, they would all become famed warriors and leaders that united those worlds.
