Living in a cage... !

Very well composed, and the perspective correction is a great touch

a fine cage this is ! full of art !
what sort of correction are we talking about

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

fredScalliet In reply to EintoeRn [2014-05-25 12:45:19 +0000 UTC]

Well, the lines are so parallel to the edges (and to each other, obviously) that I assumed ditigal perspective correction... or perhaps optical p.c., which would be impressive (but expensive, given it takes special lenses).

But since you didn't do any of that, then I have to assume a long zoom or telephoto. I see 115mm on a 50D, which i guess would be long enough if you were somehow elevated (not at street level)... probably in the opposite building ? Given there is a very slight hint (but really, the tiniest slightest of hints) of vertical lines converging towards the bottom, then I suppose your camera was nearly horizontal but not exactly: very slightly tilted down to get the composition you wanted, because you couldn't stand between two stories... So tell me, how close am I ?

I like this guessing game
