Her hair isn't supposed to be obedient. It's supposed to be a mess. Like that of all girls with wild, untameable curls. (Talking from experience here...) We finally have a princess with messy curls and you want to take them away??? Sniff...

It is an animated movie. Don Bluth, I believe was the animator of the movie. You should see it! It's about King Arthur, the Knights of the Round Table, all sorts of fun stuff!
